WOW… we went to a nursery to buy plants and trees and we was sweating so bad… the back of my hair was dripping. We were hiding under larger trees to get shade. I thought I was going to pass out. Monte and Phyllis are here helping us and they were ready to die also… we were going to go jump in the ocean .. but we were starving and decided to go have dinner… we determined where we would go to dinner by who had AC, we walked out of our favorite restaurant because it was so hot!
When we were done eating we ran to Costco to get some salmon , I cant believe that they didn’t have any.. so.. we decided to go to Fred Meyers and buy some tables for the deck and another chair.. we got home and it still was too hot to go into the house… so we sat on the deck in the back and relaxed until it cooled a bit.. right now it is 73 and it is midnight. I know some of you are hotter than that… but come on we live by the ocean with no AC and we are not use to it anymore. lol
I want to update on how mom’s chemo is going… many people have asked.. she has her good days and her bad days… but really she is doing well. Of course she is very tired, and I am sure this heat is not helping. Please keep her in your prayers.
Tomorrow is suppose to really cool down, so we will be busy planting trees most of the day. Have a great weekend.
Joy

WOW! U sure were hot. We were 93º yesterday and suppose to reach 100º today.
Bernadette caught me mowing last evening in the heat and got on my case. She’s going to have her mow man come finish and do it for the summer again. He did it last year once it got too hot for us. We look after her pugs and she has 5 assisted living homes in Kennewick.
Bill isn’t to be out in less then 50º and more then 80º. He could us the rider if he felt up to it but I think that is over for him as of recently. He has a bad disc in the lower back. We are in the process of getting him to have an MRI. His Chiropractor can’t help him on this one. Bernadette gave him a prescription for pain pills to get him pst the weekend when he should be able to see his MD.
Have a good weekend and maybe you will be thinking about getting an AC in the near future. Our temps are changing all over.
Take Care — elaine & bill and pugs
And I thought we were still living in the Tri Cities yesterday, we had that nice(?) east wind blowing. Thank goodness for airconditioning! Try to enjoy your cooler weather and don’t work too hard. Went to a 9AM Soccer game and it was 88 when I left there.

Mom, very hot here but you know how hot it gets up here. We went to Bries soccer game and then a BBQ, what fun they all had and alittle on the red side. Phil looks like a lobster. My car said it was 100, yikes!! Gotta love the summer days in the Tri-Cities. Enjoy planting your trees, we are going to try and work on our garden. Love you all

Glad it has cooled down some!
Joy,
Tell Robert Dave retired from KPD on April 29th. He did 28 yrs. He is now working for the State of Wash. , for DOL.
Short retirement!!!! OH well, we needed Insurance coverage, since LEOFF 2 doesn’t offer any.
Hope all is well, take care
Theresa
Hey girl, Glad I found your new blog!! I sure have missed you. Neglect I must say. lol
Hey Joy,
Gary and I were in the Tri-Cities the 15th-18th. First time there. Kristen had surgery at KGH. We went by the PD and thought of you and Robert. And yes, it was so hot!! Spent the whole time in the hospital and motel room so really didn’t get to see much of your old stomping grounds.
Hope all is well.
